I can trigger hint mode with Alt+Win+x but Alt+Win+Shift+x triggers the same hint mode instead of triggering two pass hint mode.
Also, from normal mode after A-M-c I can hit x for hint mode but X (shift+x) does not trigger two pass hint mode. It triggers hint mode.
Similarly, I can trigger left with h but not top with H. I can do w for grid up but not W for grid cut up.

I fourd this issue mentions it in its third bullet:

  1. Unable to use 2-stage hint mode. Shift + 'x' in normal mode goes into hint mode, not 2-state hint mode.
