I am trying to create a private CA using
step ca init
in Kubernetes using persistent volume for storingcerts
,config
,db
, andsecrets
so that my CA would be retained even if the pod crashes or restarts. All the files inside
certs
,secrets
are storing in the PVC and are working as expected. The only problem is with thedb
folder. It is showing the following error-If I use
emptyDir
instead of PVC for db, it is working fine but I really need to storedb
also in PVC.What might be the issue here? It was working fine with hostPath PV in local using minikube.
I don't know the configuration of the PV used. If the problem might be due to the PV configuration, any hint about a compatible configuration would also be helpful.
