Receive props in theme object

I can access the whole theme object in the theme itself by using a function:

theme = {
  variant: {
    color: theme => theme.colors.yellow,
  }
}

But I want also to receive props passed to the component using this variant along with the theme, much like in Styled-components.

theme = {
  variant: {
    color: (theme, props) => theme.colors[props.hue],
  }
}

Is this possible in styled-system?
