I attempted to run the project without Docker after cloning it to a remote Ubuntu server. To make the routes reachable from my local Windows machine via my server's IP address, I added --host 0.0.0.0 to the backend configuration, and they are functioning as planned. For the same reason, I modified the frontend configuration such that "dev": "vite" became "dev": "vite --host".

As seen in the image below, there are various issues when I go to http://server_ip:5173/login. However, after submitting my password and email, I receive a Network Error and login fails:

What am I doing wrong?

I forgot to update VITE_API_URL to point to the IP address of my servers. I now get the same network error with this message after modifying that:

POST http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/api/v1/login/access-token net::ERR_SOCKS_CONNECTION_FAILED

The issue has been resolved by appending the default port (8000) at the end of the VITE_API_URL.
