yes, if you want to have the modules globally, then this is the correct folder. Be sure to check the content of the ZIP. If it is a normal module the module folder is inside the file too, so you place it in the SDK main folder (otherwise you'll end up with module/module/android/...)

If you just want to use it in a project: simply place the module in the apps root folder and build it. It will extract itself when you run the build command. https://fromzerotoapp.com/use-modules-in-your-app/#link5
