We should review the Permissions screen and ensure it fits in with other patterns in WordPress iOS.

Eli's feedback:

  • It is unclear that both buttons needed to be tapped.
  • It is unclear that unless I granted access I couldn’t take or upload a picture.

As a first step we just want to update the screen so that it doesn't mention Tumblr.

@megsfulton Does it make sense to just say "Post to WordPress" here? Would it make more sense to say "Post a Story"?

I think Post to WordPress works.

Two small things:

  • Can we add a period at the end of "Allow access..."?
  • Update the color of the button to be the WP app blue? Or white if the blue's not holding up on the dark bg.

Thanks!

I think I found a decent combination using our color palette with the Muriel Green shade 20 and WordPress blue from our dark mode set:

The normal WordPress blue seems to be a bit dark on the black, but it would probably make sense to use the dark mode variant since this whole screen is dark:

WordPress Blue White WordPress Blue in Dark Mode

The Muriel Green is a bit muted so I thought I'd use a lighter shade (we don't have a dark mode version for the green so maybe this would be the equivalent):

Current Green Muriel Green Muriel Green shade 20

Let me know if you think that looks alright @megsfulton!

The dark mode options look good, great choice!

We're currently in the process of modifying this screen after apple rejected the iOS app based on it.
This is what the new screen currently looks like for our hotfix. After finding this issue I'm thinking it's probably best I get your input prior to merging anything as we probably don't want to specifically mention Tumblr.
