A few days ago I built and ran the ControlRoom app on my m1 Mac mini to change the language settings of the 12 mini simulator, but the next day I noticed that the simulator would occasionally fail to respond correctly to click events.

This is similar to a question on StackOverflow, and the comment in the high ticket answer "changing device orientation upside down and rotate left once from portrait" also worked for me.

I've had a similar problem on every Mac I've used before, and it's been very annoying. I never realized the possible connection between this phenomenon and similar softwares. Now I'm wondering if it's also because I installed some macOS apps that control the simulators. I'm a tool lover and used to install such softwares on my old Macs, but not on this new m1 mac before.

Sorry for the lack of clarity, but I have uploaded a video on YouTube to show the problem visually.

I would appreciate it if people could give me some tips to this problem.

Thanks!

From the StackOverflow thread, you included, it looks like a Simulator bug. Have you filed a Bug Report to Apple?

@melgu
thx for your reply. Like you said, maybe I should have filed a Bug Report to Apple
