Question

Hi @glenn-jocher, I saw the news you shared yesterday about YOLO-Human. It is amazing, thank you. I have a question about this project.

Is the YOLO-Human project going to include behavior understanding, such as fall detection? As you know, the PaddleDetection project also has PP-Human, which supports fall detection. I am asking because both projects have a common feature in this regard.

Install

Pip install the ultralytics package including all requirements in a Python>=3.8 environment with PyTorch>=1.8.

pip install ultralytics

YOLOv8 may be run in any of the following up-to-date verified environments (with all dependencies including CUDA/CUDNN, Python and PyTorch preinstalled):

Status

Thanks for your interest in the YOLO-Human project! As of now, YOLO-Human focuses primarily on efficient and accurate human detection. We haven't included behavior understanding features like fall detection in the current scope, but it's definitely a great idea for future updates.

For now, if you need fall detection, you might consider integrating YOLO-Human for human detection with a separate behavior analysis model. Keep an eye on our updates; your feedback is very valuable for guiding future enhancements!
