From valkey-io/valkey#65 (comment): Adding Support for Fedora-based images for Valkey.

How about we support Fedora too? If so, how much overhead will we have to maintain these distributions?
If you one want to contribute to make something better, you are very much welcome.

Hi.

I can propose Fedora based images as I mentioned the potential need for this in an issue.

I will propose a pull request as soon as I made fixes to respect the same "entry" than the others.

Maybe using another Red Hat based distribution as based instead of Fedora can be interesting. Actually, the goal is to propose something that many customers need.

So I wonder if Rocky is not preferable over Fedora for this image. Or maybe both.

another Red Hat based distribution

Rocky

If we are going "enterprise" way, consider using Red Hat Universal Base Image (UBI).
