Async openAPIV2 introspection

I have an api schema I want to fetch and poll for. Is this supported? I don't see any examples or callback options in the typescript definitions.

Could only find these:

Hey, it's nuts currently supported as we thought you'd always have the openapi file locally and it won't change frequently. However, all mechanisms exist to fetch and poll a config, it's just not exposed.

Can you give us some context on the scenario where this is useful?

Right now I am performing complex business tasks through a nestjs restful api and simple crud through the rpcs exposed through
Postgres => hasura => wundergraph.

Plenty of frameworks I have worked with have a constantly changing api schema during development. The developer convenience with only needing to reference a url instead of a file path would be pretty great.

Is is also pretty common to have multiple schemas in the same application (for monolithic applications that have modules) so being able to just reference the modules url would help avoid the hassle of having to output the schema.

Ideally: there would be a 4th OpenAPI Introspection kind that takes in an asynchronous callback that resolves to string or object so we can do whatever we want to get it before we pass it back.

Got it thanks. Does fetching the url require any auth or custom headers?

Being able to specify headers would probably be a good idea. My use case does not require it though.

I will add up to it as a possible scenario to be able to define the schemas of the api by hand rather rely on autogenerated openapi or something.

Would be nice to have an constraint interface to be able to comply to wundergraph API.
