I have been using xournal++ (the nightly build in windows10) for teaching math for 20+ hours a week (for over a year now).
The current ruler (that is very sophisticated) is of no use for me.
Would it be possible to implement a ruler like in the old, free version of Autodesk SketchBook (which is very simple and user friendly)?
The most important feature of the Autodesk Sketchbook ruler is that it can be translated and rotated with the mouse and stylus. That would be a minimum requirement for your fancy ruler in order to be usable.
