I want to try out some plugins, but not sure about the directory structure, seemed to be not the same with official gpodder manual, which says the home folder is ~/gPodder
Can you please point out where should I dive in?
Is it in the /gpodder directory?
And all I need do is create a new folder named “extension”, and throw a bunch of .py files into it?
Thanks!

This docker image does follow the default gPodder directory structure, under the container's config directory (set by $GPODDER_HOME in the Dockerfile). Within your config directory you should see a directory called gPodder. If you want to add additional extensions you would need to create a directory called Extensions here.
Which extensions were you wanting to add to your gPodder container? All of the extensions listed on this page are already included and enabled by default in this docker image.
