MultiMarkdown CriticMarkup Support

Is it possible to get CriticMarkup syntax hilighting supported? It is a subset of MultiMarkdown v6. For a site that shows planned markdown edits this would be great to have. ie:

This {++is ++}a test.

This is {--is --}a test.

This {~~isn't~>is~~} a test.

This is a {==test==}.

This is a test.{>>What is it a test of?<<}
