Selection screenshots are blurry:

There is other unwanted transparency in other applications.

you need to exclude the screenshot application from blur, use blur-background-exclude

What do I use for the application name? I tried maim and it didn't work.

Oh. I see. @Monsterovich has an answer that worked. So I did actually find that when I was looking myself, but I got confused when I saw slop. I thought that it was for a different application. Guess I didn't look closely.

So what fixed it was this:

blur-background-exclude = [
    ...
    "class_i *= 'slop'",
];

Thanks so much. This has been bothering me for a while. Now I can move on to the 6-8 other issues that I have.
