Portfolio-2.0

The purpose of this repository is to offer guidance and insight into my minimalistic and clean portfolio website, which showcases my academic interests, skills, and experiences as a CS Undegrad. The portfolio has a minimal, ambient, user-friendly interface designed to provide a seamless browsing experience for developers.

The website is built using the following tools & technologies:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS
  • Hosting solution - GitHub Pages, Netlify

📦 Installation & Running on your local

  • Clone the repository and modify the content of src directory according to your requirements.
  • Add or remove images from the img directory as per your needs.
  • To change the UI of the Portfolio , you can play around with the CSS via css folder as per your requirements.
  • Using GitHub Pages to deploy your own portfolio website can be a way around, or you can use Netlify or Vercel for deployment.
  • To deploy your website using GitHub Pages, create a GitHub repository with the name <your-github-username>.github.io. Please use this exact name.
  • Push the generated code to the master branch of your repository.

While I appreciate any interest in contributing to the website, it's primarily a personal project, and I would like to maintain control over its development. However, if you've spotted an issue or have feedback or want you use this as a template or for your own use cases, please feel free to fork it or open an issue on this repository, and I'll surely consider your suggestions.

Step 1: Clone The Repo 💡

Fork the repository and then clone it locally by doing -

git clone https://github.com/AbhishekRP2002/Portfolio-web2.0.git

Step 2: Build Your Code 🔨

Start your magic by modifying the code and making changes of your own. Then push the commit using -

git add .
git commit -m "<your commit message here>"
git push <remote alias name> <branch name>

Step 3: Create a new pull request 🔃

After cloning & setting up the local project you can push the changes to your github fork and make a pull request (optional).
