Getting Started

Get Sonic Sum up and running on your local machine by following these simple steps.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following prerequisites installed on your machine:

  • Python (version 3.10 or higher)
  • pip (Python package installer)

Installation

  1. Clone the Repository:

    git clone https://github.com/ShashankGupta10/Sonic-Sum.git
    cd Sonic-Sum
    
  2. Obtain API Keys:

    • Sign in to Cohere and visit Cohere Dashboard to obtain your API key.
    • Sign in to OpenAI and visit API Dashboard to obtain your API key.
  3. Add API Key to Project:

    • Create a .streamlit folder in the root directory of the project.
    • Add a secrets.toml file and include the following line:
    • COHERE_API_KEY = "your-api-key"
    • OPENAI_API_KEY = "your-api-key"
  4. Run the Application:

    • Execute the following command:
    streamlit run app.py
