Few reports of network reports recently - might need to make authenticated clients more flexible

2 Users reported unable to trigger workflow runs. Apparently updating the code like below seems to resolve the issue, but this needs further investigaiton.

We've made simplifications to the docker compose stack that should help ease networking logic, reopen if networking issues persist
