ResearchNetwork Application

ResearchNetwork is a platform that provides smooth connections to research opportunities for students at Washington State University. Professors or faculties can present their research opportunities on this platform. Students will be able to see all currently available research opportunities and be able to apply for them.

Environment Setup

1. In case you want all dependencies installed in the virtual environment

   Establish the virtual enviorment:

   ​ Windows: py -3 -m venv venv

   Mac/Linux: python3 -m venv venv

   Activate the virtual enviorment:

   Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

   Mac/Linux: . venv/bin/activate

2. Install the required library dependencies by this command:

   pip install -r requirements.txt pip install python-dotenv

Run Application

flask run OR python researchnetwork.py
