Currency Api

A JSON RESTFul Api that provides foreign exchange rates.

• /currencies Return actual currencies.

• /currencies/:currency Return the exchange rate for specified currency. i.e: /currencies/BRL

• /convert? to = BRL & amount = 12 Return the conversion result of specified amount and currency. to and amount are query parameters.

Motivation

I'm using this project for experimental purposes. So I'm using some lightweight frameworks and tools to lets project's structure and code simple, easy to read and with no magical things.

currencylayer - 3rd part API

This project consumes exchange rates from currencylayer API. Reliable Exchange Rates & Currency Conversion for your Business. Real-time JSON API for 168 World Currencies https://currencylayer.com/.

• This projects uses a free account, for that reason, some features were not implemented. Like change the default currency and conversion from another currencies.
