• Shortcut for Quick Access: A new shortcut for Mac users has been added: ⇧⌘<. This shortcut simplifies the process of launching SiriGPT, providing users with a convenient and efficient way to access the services promptly. This improvement aims to enhance user productivity and convenience.

• Introduced a new feature that allows users to conveniently save and access chat history. Whether you find it necessary or simply prefer to keep a record of your conversations, you can now enable this feature seamlessly. If you opt for Data Jar as your storage option, a dedicated SiriGPT-Log will be created to house your logs. On the other hand, if Data Jar is not utilised, your chat history will be securely saved in the Shortcut directory, identified with a JSON extension. Rest assured, with this enhancement, you can preserve valuable conversations without any concern of losing them.

• A new role as an alternative teacher has been added offering a fresh way to learn. By selecting this role and engaging with SiriGPT, you can delve into a diverse range of subjects. With each lesson, SiriGPT provides an explanation tailored to your chosen topic, ensuring that every lesson is distinct from previous ones. Following each session, you will have the choice to progress to the next lesson or opt for a quiz, allowing for an interactive learning experience.

• Introduced the ability for users to customise the number of tokens used. It is important to note that the maximum number of tokens allowed for content generation is shared between the prompting and completion sections. However, the actual limit depends on the model used. On average, each token represents about 4 characters in standard English.

• Language support for Polski and Türkçe is now available, providing a more inclusive experience for users.

• The Speech Recognition (ASR) functionality has been significantly enhanced with the introduction of the Whisper translation feature. This allows for transcriptions of audio files from any supported language into English text. Please note, translation is currently limited to English.

  With Chatty, you can easily use voice translation to convert audio messages into text in various languages. To get started, all you need to do is type or say the command "Translate" in any of the supported languages. Supported languages include Arabic "ترجمة", Catalan "Tradueix", German "Übersetzen", Spanish "Traducir", Francès Canadenc "Traduire", French "Traduire", Hindi "अनुवाद करना", Italian "Traduci", Japanese "翻訳", Korean "번역하기", Polish "Przetłumacz", Portuguese "Traduzir", Russian "Перевести", Turkish "Çevir", Chinese "翻译", and Cantonese "翻譯". To stop the recording, simply tap the screen. Upon completion, Chatty will automatically translate and transcribe the recorded text for you. This functionality serves as a convenient solution for users who need to convert lengthy audio messages into text, making communication in languages other than English hassle-free.

  Following the same steps as the transcription will also allow for translation from the received text into a different language (check the steps in version 1.4).

Release Highlights:

• Squashed an error causing some users to experience issues with the shortcut output, making it non-functional.
• Improved the URL summary feature. To access this feature, copy the URL of the article you are interested in and then type or said the command "Summarise" in any of the supported languages. Upon utilising this command, you will receive a concise paragraph consisting of approximately 100 words. Following that, a bullet-point list will highlight the most crucial information, concluding with a one-sentence summary.
• Support for two new languages, English (India) and हिन्दी, has been added.
• Whisper functionality has been implemented which features automatic speech recognition (ASR). This helps convert audio into text .

• Enhanced the command prompt for superior output.
• Enhancements have been made to the call-out for upcoming calendar events and reminders. Now, by simply typing "check my schedule" or its equivalent in supported languages, users will receive a summary of their upcoming events and reminders. This includes languages such as German "überprüfen sie meinen zeitplan", Spanish "consultar mi horario", French "consulter mon emploi du temps", Italian "controlla i miei impegni", Japanese "スケジュールを確認する", Korean "내 일정 확인", Portuguese "confira minha agenda", Russian "Проверить мое расписание", Arabic "تحقق من جدولي الزمني", Chinese "查看我的日程安排" and more. It's important to note, this feature is still in its beta testing phase.

Release Highlights:

• User privacy settings have been enhanced.
• Adjustments to Temperature, Top P, Frequency Penalty and Presence Penalty settings are now possible. It's important to note that the format for decimal division should be either a period or a comma, depending on the region settings of the device.
• A new feature provides a summary of upcoming calendar events and reminders for the next five days, and it can be activated by including the word "schedule" in the prompt. This feature is currently in beta testing.
• A URL summary feature has been added, enabling instant overviews of website articles when a URL is pasted.
• The Do Anything Now (DAN) Mode, which transforms SiriGPT into a rogue-like AI assistant, has been introduced. This mode allows SiriGPT to operate beyond the typical AI rules and regulations. As such, it may produce content that doesn't adhere to OpenAI's guidelines, potentially causing inaccuracies and offensive material.

Release Highlights:

• Support for continuous chatting is now available, allowing users to engage in uninterrupted conversations.
• Conversations can now be initiated or exited at any user's convenience. To initiate a new chat, the phrase "New chat" or its respective phrase in a supported language should be used. It is important to understand that the previous conversation's information will not be retrievable. To exit SiriGPT, the command "Goodbye" or another equivalent phrase in a supported language should be used, for a more natural interaction.
• SiriGPT now integrates with DALL·E to enable image generation. Simply include the term "image" or its equivalent in supported languages in the chat prompt to generate an image.
• A multi-language start prompt has been introduced, adapting automatically to the language set in the user's device. Available languages include English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, 日本, 한국인, Português, Русский, عربي, 中国人, enabling users to receive prompts in a language they can comfortably understand.
• Storage location of API keys can now be customised as per individual preferences or requirements.
• System prompts can be adjusted to suit personal preferences, providing a user-tailored experience. This is applicable to various situations and contexts, such as general AI, accountant, AI-assisted doctor, career counsellor, editor, essay writer, interviewer, mental health advisor, motivational coach, personal trainer, and social media manager.
