Are you ready to collaborate and create innovative projects? Participate in the Project Building challenge from 21st to 28th February and build innovative Node.js-based projects to win exciting rewards.

Test your coding and collaborative skills in this week-long challenge! Sign up for the Project Building challenge from 21st to 28th February to create Node.js-based projects ranging from web applications, API, and chatbots to anything you can imagine.

Exact Steps to Get Started:

1. First register for the event: Register Here

2. Form to create team: Team Creation Form. You can look for team members in the Node.js Project Building channel: Discord Channel (note: only one of your team members has to fill this form)

3. Come up with a theme around the project that you wish to build. The project has to be built during the time of the event.

4. • As you start to participate from 21st Feb onwards, create a new forum post in the forum channel #nodejs-project-building-challenge-forum with the title as - <teamname>
   • For example, if your team name is Invincibles your post title should be invincibles-. You have to drop a message: the team will work on which specific project idea.
   • Use this channel and your forum post to share daily updates on the project you are building.
   • You have to create a project from scratch. Create a new repository on GitHub, keep it open source, and push all of your project code there.
   • You will get time till 28th Feb 11:59 PM IST to submit your project to be considered for prizes.

• Build a team of 2 to 4 members

• Pick any Node.js theme for the project: Do you want to build a full stack application, a Blog site, A bot, or Backend API framework - upto you!

• Here are some other examples:

  • https://github.com/mgiatti/dev-radar-backend - web radar backend only
  • https://github.com/Armanidrisi/devblog - simple blog using node js and mongoDb

• Collaborate and create for 7 days

• Present your project in the #vc-events channel

Prizes

• Cultivating a habit of coding regularly in Nodejs/JavaScript.
• Best team will amazing prizes like tokens and gift vouchers
• Receiving a certificate for completing the challenge.
