IconScanner is a Mac application to find and view all Apple icon files (.icns) on your system in an image browser view.
I threw it together quickly at some point back in the day to inspect icon assets used by Mac OS X and native programs.
- Download IconScanner 1.2 (~250 KB, 10.8, Intel 64-bit only)
- Added searchfs search tool option
- Modernised codebase and moved to ARC
- Added contextual menu for items
- mdfind now uses UTIs to locate icon files instead of suffix
